Recall Appointments And Preventative Dentistry

We take pride in our emphasis on “preventive dentistry”. Our program serves to prevent and identify problems before they develop. We can accomplish our mutual objective by having regular “recall” appointments.

A recall appointment is a periodic checkup and cleaning that is recommended by your Doctor upon completion of your treatment.
Recalls are usually every six months, with some people who may need more or less. Remember, our ultimate goal is to maintain your dental health over a long period of time. Periodic checkups and cleanings are necessary in achieving this goal.

Missed Appointments

Your scheduled appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. Lateness and missed appointments are disruptive to both our office and other patients who also have a timely schedule. We generally call our patients one or two days prior to their appointments for confirmation. However, this call is a courtesy of our office to you, and you are ultimately responsible for keeping your appointments.

We do realize that unpredictable situations may occur that force you to reschedule your appointment. In these circumstances, we would appreciate a twenty-four hour notice if possible. Two or more missed appointments without any notice will result in dismissal from our office.
